Jordan and Adam’s Ivy and Oak wedding was a year ago today. Being new to doing blogs, I figured, why not start with an anniversary post. Ivy and Oak in Talking Rock, Ga. is one of my favorite venues to work at. Lacey and her husband Matt are such a nice team, they offer all inclusive packages, and handle the brunt of the work themselves. I always have a great time when I am able to work with this venue/coordination team. As with most weddings, I was able to meet the bride and her family first. The bridal suite was alive and full of energy, especially towards Jordan’s daughter. This was the first wedding I was able to capture where the groom gave a speech directly to a child. Adam spoke with such love towards her and her mother, it was a speech that any man wishes they could give to their own daughter. I loved every moment of this wedding, from hair and makeup to the car headlight lit exit. I wish the both of you a happy anniversary with many more to come.
